Kelly Ann Porenta (February 22, 1959 – December 21, 2021)

Kelly Ann Porenta, 62, handed away along with her husband and sister Carmen by her facet Tuesday, December 21, 2021, on the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died following a brave battle with COVID.

Kelly was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming for 55 years and resident of North Dakota.Kelly was born February 22, 1959, in Elgin, North Dakota, the daughter of Anselm Schlosser and Kathleen Ann Boehm. Kelly spent her early childhood years on farms close to Mott, North Dakota, earlier than shifting to Rock Springs. Kelly was a 1977 graduate of Rock Springs High School and attended Western Wyoming Community College.

Kelly and Kent first met at an aerobics class on the Civic Center and shortly, she requested him for a date. Eventually Kelly and Kent have been joined in marriage March 15, 1995, underneath the Great White Throne in Zion National Park and spent 36 great years collectively.Kelly labored at U.S. West for 30 years as a pay cellphone tech and retired in 1999. Being tired of retirement, Kelly went again to varsity to hone her pc expertise. She labored a short while at Wyoming Waste after which on to Bunning Transfer for 8 years and once more for two years with a few jobs in between. Finally within the fall of 2019 she determined to retire full time.Kelly totally loved life. Whether it was; caring for her pay cellphone “infants”, educating an aerobics class, drag racing, working on the Speedway or the County Fair, Kelly was all the time there to fortunately assist. Kelly had no youngsters of her personal, nonetheless, she was a “child magnet” and it was not unusual to see her skipping round with a number of youngsters in tow singing “Lions and Tigers and Bears O my”.
