We are happy to announce the inaugural AIGA Asheville Dream Fund. A grant program created to assist Western North Carolina creative students’ know-how and software program wants. The Dream Fund advantages underrepresented and economically deprived Western North Carolina students who’re finding out the design disciplines of graphic design, images/videography, UI/UX, or illustration in schools and universities. The tenets of this system are variety, realization, fairness, entry, and advantage.
“We are excited to announce this new program. It is a superb alternative to assist our passionate and proficient students, recognizing the significance of our subsequent era of creatives.”, says Tom Petruccelli, AIGA Asheville Education Co-Chair.
Three students will likely be chosen every year to obtain $3,500 in financial items to buy new pc {hardware}, software program, or design-related know-how. Additionally, students will likely be awarded one-year Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions.
