A person in Washington, D.C. final month was the sufferer of an armed theft through which the thieves stole “every part he had in his pockets,” together with his automobile keys and smartphone. The one bit of fine information? It was an Android phone, and the thieves needed nothing to do with it.
As reported by ABC7, the Washington, D.C. couple requested not to be recognized for the story. The spouse defined that she had simply completed working “into the early morning hours” and her husband “insisted he meet her outdoors of their condominium” to park the automobile for her.
When he parked the automobile and began strolling again to the condominium, “two masked gents” approached him and had been armed with weapons. “They robbed him, took every part he had in his pockets, took the keys to my truck, and acquired in and pulled off,” the girl recounted.
But earlier than driving off, the thieves took a have a look at the phone they had simply stolen and promptly handed it again to the husband.
“They principally checked out that phone and had been like ‘Oh, that’s an Android? We don’t need this. I believed it was an iPhone,’” the spouse mentioned.
Still, though her husband could have gotten his phone again, the girl says that the occasion “turned her life upside-down.”
